In various M.Phil Programs for eligible candidates (Session 2015-20171 Applications are invited for admission for two years full-time M.Phil Programs at the King Edward Medical University in the following disciplines for session (2015- 2017).
a). LIST OF SUBJECTS IN WHICH CANDIDATES CAN APPLY WITH ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
16 years education in relevant field with at least 50% marks or CGPA> 2.5 as per minimum criteria laid down by HEC.
1. Anatomy - Candidates must hold MBBS
2. Physiology degree recognized by PMDC/ HEC.
3. Biochemistry
4. Pharmacology
5. Forensic Medicine
7. Histopathology
8. Chemical Pathology
9. Hematology
10. Optometry (VS)
11 Orthoptics (VS)
12. Investigative Ophthalmology (VS)
13. Physiotherapy
- BSC (Hon.) in Vision Sciences recognized by NEC.
Doctor of Physiotherapy/ BSC Physiotherapy. recognized by HEC.
-The list of courses of M.Phil mentioned above is tentative which may change at the time of final selection.
- The final admission will be made as per policy of the Government of the Punjab, Health Department. Lahore, prevailing at the time of final induction/ admission.
- The induction will be made according to the University's Rules & Regulations of M.Phil. 2015.
b). ADMISSION CRITERIA
1. Preference will be given for distinction in professional examinations, additional experience and published research.
2. The candidate must pass, - University based subject 'lest with minimum qualifying score of 60%.
3. The candidates should specify their field of interest and proposed research topic with Its description along with the admission form.
4. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility and admission criteria will be called for inter-view as per university rules.
6. The allocation of training slots in M.Phil Program is highly competitive. Only the top most merit would be offered training position which would be limited to the available slots in the particular specialties.
7. Application forms received by post` mail/ courier will also be entertained in the Office of the Assistant Registrar (Academics), within due date and time i.e. 24.02.2015 at 2.30 P.M.
c). FEE STRUCTURE -
Annual tee will be charged according to Rules & Regulations of the King Edward Medical University which may be changed from time to time. - Total fee will have to be deposited at the time of admission" initial registration except Tuition fee, Library Fee and Examination lee which will be charged on annual basis. - All fees will be non-refundable.

Application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Assistant Registrar (Acad.), KEMU after receipt of prescribed fee payment in the authorized bank of KEMU or can be downloaded from www.kemu.edu.pk. if the form is down-loaded from the KEMU Website, pay order of Rs. 5800/- in favor of Vice Chancellor, KEMU, Lahore should be attached.
NOTE: STIPEND & ACCOMMODATION WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS OF M.PHIL BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES ACCORDING TO THE MERIT AND AVAILABILITY-TY, RESPECTIVELY.
